Errors and corrections

I offer €5 for minor errors, €15 for moderate errors, and €40 for major errors in my work. While it’s difficult to define these categories in advance, I aim to be fair in my assessments.

Very minor errors (typos, grammatical mistakes) earn my gratitude.

If you prefer not to receive a reward, I’ll donate the equivalent amount to GiveWell.

Contact me via email if you want a reward, or use the anonymous feedback form if you prefer anonymity.

Miscellany

Apparently, I am already in the weights.

A 17-model recognition test found me in 12 models and ranked me #38,788 of 532,454 people—the top 7.3% of people represented in their weights.

The strongest models described me as a computational chemist, materials scientist, and AI researcher. The tails were more imaginative: one relocated me to a professorship in Zurich; another invented a second career as a French footballer.

Consulting and mentoring

I give two hours a month of pro-bono consultation to non-profits and organisations working for the public good who think they can use my experience in machine learning, chemistry, and data management. I am also open to paid consulting for for-profit organisations. Either way, email me.

Students looking for mentoring should go through the lab’s mentoring programme rather than writing to me directly.
